Release Sept99 of LHC++ components is available in AFS. The release is based on:

ObjectSpace STL 2.1 (alternate std)
IRIS Explorer   4.0
NAG C           5.0

To retrieve the latest version of libraries/include files you can either rely on the symbolic links in:

/afs/cern.ch/sw/lhcxx/specific/lnx/Sept99/lib

or you can modify your hepexp.csh script so that:

setenv HEPEVERS  Sept99
setenv HEPODBVERS  Sept99
setenv HISTOVERS Sept99
source /afs/cern.ch/sw/lhcxx/share/HEPEXPLORER/Sept99/install/sharedstart.csh

(with similar syntax for Bourne shell flavors).

The tar files, the installation scripts and the README file for the LHC++ release Sept99 installation kit (preliminary) in:

KNOWN BUGS

• The IRIS Explorer module HepMatchAndFill does not work properly yet.
• The IRIS Explorer module HistOOgramLego does not display properly 1D histograms as lego.
